mdf2 or 3 sat nav

Featured Replies

Would it be possible to fit the above to the superb and what would be involved as it only has the standard radio at the mo

We are not to bothered about the colour of the buttons so would any of the units on ebay fit even the VW/ ford ones????

MFD2 or 3 into the superb wont fit, not without major cutting of the dash. You would also need a canbus adapter.

However

The orignal MFD will fit into the superb, it is quiet a basic unit compared to the 2 or 3 though.

Mannyo, what would be involved with fitting the MFD do you require a facial surround.

What about some of the other makes like the pioneer avic line up would they fit

Yes, any double DIN system will fit as long as it uses ISO. Which of course the aftermarket units will.

In terms of fascias, yes, you'll need an adaptor... Baker? You still got the part number from when you retro-fitted yours?

The other problem you'll face with the aftermarket is things like speed sensors if it requires them (which many AVIC's do).
