Refurb'd Wheels

Featured Replies

I have finally had my wheels refurbished in anthracite with new Toyo T1-R's all round

Should I use some type of product to protect the finish of the wheels?

There are a variety of wheel sealents available on the market, Poorboys which I do like but doesnt last as long as I would hope, I have recently tried Werkstat Prime Strong which seems to be holding up really well and also had a go with Blackfire Wet Diamond All Metal Sealant which although designed for polished finishes holds up a treat on painted and powdercoated wheels.

Truth be told though, you can essentially use the same product you would use on your bodywork as a last stage if you maintain the cars finish regularly.

The wheels have been painted so I would need a product for a painted finish I think. Preferably something I do not have to use too often lol

I find Chemical Guy's Jetseal 109 to be very good on wheels :)

As above, beats Poorboys Wheel Sealant hands down but must be applied in two coats........
