fitting a water jet to the arm of rear wiper arm

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me how to replace the water jet on the rear wiper arm as mine has snapped. It will not pull out, not sure if i have to take it to bits or not. Can anyone help. Thanks:confused::confused:

Though I'm sure a more technical member will be able to help, I think pictures would be a massive help here!

Thanks

these are the pictures. Where the gold metal is is where the new plastic jet goes however i cant get the broken one out.

I'd try a very thin woodscrew. Screw in and pull out. The tube is just that so you can't damage anything.

Hey thats brilliant thanks very much for the help. Well worth getting covered in snow. Again thanks.:):):)

The screw will work on the broken plasic stem of the jet. The metal tube is the internal water pipe and you do not want to damage that, otherwise you'll need to replace the motor.
