Hi, I own a Skoda Superb 3 – it was manufactured in last months of 2020 and it is 2021 model year. I see that everyone on the forum started the updates from at least 0278 software version and I have (I suspect because of first facelift batch) currently 0270 software and I want to update it to 0330.

My device is 3V0035816E, hardware H22 and software 0270, Poland.

I’ve found a “path” to 0324 form 0278 (0278 -> 0306 -> 0308 -> 0324) downloaded software for my device version:

306 SK20220407SW306_MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P30603P

308 MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P30800P_0308

324 MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P32400P_0324

I have two problems: I am missing 0330 file and I don’t know if I need to update 0270 to 0278 first. Does anyone know if I need to update first form 0270 to 0278 or can I go straight to 0306? If so could you provide a link to the software pack 0270 to 0278?

And same from 0324 to 0330 – can’t find the package.

I did some investigation of my own and I’ve read “main.mnf” of each package and 0306 package says:

"SupportedTrains": ["*_?268*",  "*_?270*",  "*_?272*",  "*_?274*",  "*_?276*",  "*_?278*",  "*_?300*",  "*_?302*", "*_?304*", "*_?306*"],

I assume that this is the info of which pervious software versions are supported for update? If so, my software technically is on the list. But for some reason we do 0306 to 0308 and in theory we could do 0278 to 0308 straight since it says in the 0308 main.mnf:

"SupportedTrains": ["*_?268*","*_?270*",  "*_?272*",  "*_?274*",  "*_?276*",  "*_?278*", "*_?300*",  "*_?302*",  "*_?304*",  "*_?306*",  "*_?308*" ]

But we do 0278 to 0306 and then to 0308,

And 0324 says:

"SupportedTrains": [ "*_?308*",  "*_?310*",  "*_?312*",  "*_?314*",  "*_?316*",  "*_?318*",  "*_?320*",  "*_?322*",  "*_?324*" ],

So here you should be at least on the 0308 software to attempt 0324 update.

Will updating past 0270 break my navigation like someone else mentioned here updating from 0156? (https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/512288-update-my-car-from-0156-to-0306/)

Ok. I did the update today. Went from 0270 to 0308 and then to 0324. Everything went smooth, nav is working. I am looking for 0330 software update - If someone would share a link I would be very grateful 😊

Je viens d'acquérir d'occasion un Karoq Tsi 150 Dsg7 de mars 2021. Son MIB3 est sur un système 0270.

 

En suivant les conseils du forum (notamment de "varooom") pour la mise à jour vers le système 0306, je suis allé sur le site "MIB-Helper". Hélas pour moi, le fichier : "MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P30603P_0306.zip" est corrompu ou incomplet (voir images jointes). Je ne peux donc pas aller plus loin.

 

Pensez-vous qu'il existe un autre site ou lien fiable avec lequel je pourrais télécharger le fichier "MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P30603P_0306.zip" dans son intégralité ? Merci pour les réponses.

@Gidec62 not sure if you are still looking for these files but I believe the best upgrade path is 270 -> 308 -> 330. I have done something similar for on my MQB Skoda Kamiq.

 

You can sometimes retrieve the files from mib solution or might be worth talking to @Rainesh for best update files

 

 

@wkexe I have almost the same topic, I don't get any OTA update for my Superb 5F 4x4 2022 MIB3 since the FW 306. Could you give me a hint where I can find the version 324 or 330, that I can do the update manually please?

I tried to find one of the versions it but without success....

Anyone knows if there is any change log / release notes for the versions?

I went from 270 to 330 and have noticed two things:

1. Map display in drivers display seems to be retained (earlier it was reset to navigation instructions instead over night)

2. Fewer icons in menu of headunit, though I don't now whats removed.

A part from this I'm hoping on fewer sound dropouts.

Vegarz’ link should definitely work. Just as a tip - the file name says “RW” in it; this means “Rest of the world”. The version you want will be MOI3_EU 👍🏼

Thanks @vegarz! Is there any special copying procedure after unzipping the folder? I mean, all the files should be copied to the root folder, or just unzip it and the device can recognize everything?

hi my car 2021 skoda superb. my device version M013_RW and 0270. from turkey..Did you convert from RW to EU? Did you encounter any problems? @wkexe  My version is 270 and how do I update it to 330? Can you link the files? What new improvements will come to my device? Is there Turkish language in the 330 EU version?

Hi!

I didn't converted the RW files, I received the EU version from @vegarz and it worked for me.

I don't know if it has Turkish language, but I persume your device needs the RW vesrion if that is running currently.

The main improvement which I found until now, that the device is receiving updates, which I missed for a while.

I would have said if your current version is RW, then that’s what you need and you’ll probably find the EU version won’t upload.

That being said, don’t worry about getting an earlier update, just to move away from 270. Avoid 276 like the plague - that was utter garbage and broke most stuff. But 306 or 308 are fine. In fact, look for 308 as that is the best springboard to 330 when you find it.

that’s the folder. It has what looks like 324 and 330 although I think that 330 doesn’t work. Either way if EU is the same, then you need 308 ti springboard from. I don’t see that there, not sure where to get it…
