Washing Machine Noise

Featured Replies

Sorry if this has been covered before but can't find a link etc. I have a 07 VRS that has done 26,000 it has had it's first service, I have noticed a noise coming from the Engine that I can only describe as it sounds like washing machine slowing down after it spin cycle (you know when it starts to knock) mainly at slow speeds and at around 65Mph. I've also just had the tracking done as it was pulling to the left after having new tyres fitted I have checked the air pressure and still it drifts. Any advice would be greatly appreciatted.

Front wheel bearings?

It will still be under warranty, so get it back to the dealers.

Check the obvious - wheel nuts!!

Failing that, off to the dealers

Had the car in the garage last week and they seem to reckon it's not the bearings they said that the rear tyres on the inside are feathering and need 4 wheel aligning. Anybody else had this problem??

i hear this sort of noise when the car in started on an stand still. its very faint but you can hear it.

i kinda get that fast spin sound (when the wash machine is on its last cycle and going for it) but only at 80-90 and very slighlty starts at 70
