Hi people

Nice to be here.

Quick one I currently drive an 04 plate Golf Gt tdi 140.

I am thinking of getting rid of it as its as bland as butter!

What I was wanting to know was I am looking at 56 plate vrs fabia's and was looking for some owners background on them with regards to running costs tuning capabilty and insurance mpg figures i am 32 with full ncd so expecting it to be reasonable.

Also was thinking of trading my car in for one.

Any car dealers or people in the know have any idea whether skoda would be cool taking a golf as a trade in????

Thanks in advance.

Hello :)

Hello and Welcome to Briskoda :D

Welcome to Briskoda

I traded in a mk5 golf last December to a skoda garage, some will place on forecourt others will trade it out, believe mine wasn't kept by them although it was only a 105bhp version.

my insurance didn't go up at all to a fabia VRS ,i'm looking at mods in a few months so can't comment yet but from what i hear are quite simple.

Hiya.

I can't answer anything except to say that I've seen Skoda dealers with non-Skodas in their used stock. I don't know about other VAG marques per se; there might be a policy, or it might just be I was there at the wrong times.
