Just been quoted £500+ from the dealer to have the front pipe and catalyst replaced, can anybody recommend anywhere where I will get the job done for a more reasonable price? Cheers.

You know, i'm not too sure. The workshop manager gave me a bit of a flanneling. I did ask specifically which part had failed but he skirted around it a little, and said (I think) that it's failed at the joint (the bit you can see if you look straight down below the egr on the PD) and that the whole thing needed replacing.

The car makes a bit of a whooshing noise under acceleration, and I'm getting exhaust fumes in the cabin - if that helps. :confused:

Powerflow or equiv, you could get a full stainless turbo back for less than that.

With careful box and diameter selection, back pressure and noise levels can be carefully matched to your standard system.

Looks like there's a Powerflow franchise fairly close to me. I'll call in there tomorrow.
