Ouch, that HAD to hurt

It will only be a Cat A, B, C, D etc write off if it has been declared to the insurance. Or the insurance refused to pay out so the owner sold it to the scrappers.

I have seen cars and bikes in a very bad way that would most certainly be Cat A's, but they aren't because they weren't declared to the insurance.
