Nlited Laptop

Featured Replies

My XP lappy was getting really slow and boggy, so I decided to install an N-lited version of XP that I installed on the Eee900. Its about 512mb and it works a treat!

The lappy has an Intel Centrino Duo 1.83Ghz processor and 1.0GB of RAM, it's ultra fast now, I'm impressed.

No need to upgrade to 2.0GB RAM now. Just out of interest, how much RAM does XP support?

Think it supports 4GB

some people say it works really good with 3GB (as does Vista)

XP runs with just 128MB just dont expect it to be a speed demon!!!

Xp supports 4gb like vista but also like vista it's 4gb minus private address space.

IMHO more than 2gb is pointless with xp as it's memory management isn't nearly as good as vista onwards
