Anti squeal pads needed urgently

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can get some anti squeal pads to go on the back of brake pads to stop squeeling brakes, I got somebefore from Ian godney but I cant seem to contact him at the moment & need some fairly quickly.

I have tried all our local brake specialists & they all say they were discontinued a couple of years ago

Stuart, try Autocross in Bracknell, 08701 678910, for the AP anti-squeal shims. They may have some or know where to get them.

Another couple of alternatives:

Alyn at AS Performance (Stockcar on here) on 0191 410 3770

Circuit Supplies (Ferodo importers) on 01525 385888

Questmead (can't remember the guy's name) on 01706 860088

Hope that helps.

What? On the pads!

Tw@! :P

Phil, copper slip can only do so much, as you probably know, sometimes you need to fit either anti-squeal shims or pads. APs and Brembos seem to "need" them for some reason

Yep it helped last time until the brakes got really hot one day :) sticky pads cured it no mater how much abuse they get

 being a qualified mechanic you don`t know how much that hurt....;)
