Which spec interface/cable would i need for my 57 plate Jetta 2.0 Tdi ?

Also is there a version of vag-com for linux or is it windows only?

You can probably get the cheaper interface version from Vagcom, but personally I'd go for the full one as it just works better and the saving is not enough to worry about the cheaper one IMHO.

USB now works fine, and I think there is a group buy on the go at the moment here, so you'll save a few quid

You need a CAN capable one so only official interfaces will work. Either Hex&CAN or MicroCAN.

Thanks for the replies chaps, i thought i would probably need the CAN compatibility.

Will look into how much it is going to cost me.
