So what do I do first, the black out windows or the lowering springs? Got a good contact for the windows but which springs do I choose?

I wouldn't bother with the tints but instead go for sun shades. Sort the suspension out and then hacksaw a few inches off that exhaust :)

Nice car, thats what id like to replace my vRS with. how much if you dont mind me asking?

oh and id say first mod, colour match the silver round the grill

I thought that as well bout the exhaust, but which springs would you choose. The dealers dont do just the springs any more.

HI all, think I may have find some new genuine Octavia II vRS springs for my car. Does anyone know how much lower they are compared to standard?

Not sure, 20-25mm. BUT make sure you get the springs from a diesel vRS. The diesel engine is much heavier than a petrol, and fitting petrol vRS springs will make the front way to low.

You can buy my TDi sport springs off me if you want

They are just in my garage doing nothing, pm me if interested :)

Anyway, nice looking car,

just needs a bit of colour coding now, eg grill and sidestrips, and sort out the exhaust as Jonno said.

Very nice though

Cheers

Damian

well allow me to disagree on that matter....

i have never understood why lower springs on an estate car! an estate car is spacious, family oriented, with great comforts for the driver and passengers.

you do not want to compromise the great comfort you currently get, do you? why would you want to get stiffer driving on an estate -family car!

yeah i know: for better handling and looks!!

how fast though you drive in England and how fast you making turns so the lowering springs will make the difference? i guess its all about the looks at end of the day :) Personally i choose a nice comfy ride when going for a 700miles trip rather than a stiff one and a pain in the back and a** :)

Same goes with wheels, the 18's look nice but shake the fillings out of your teeth, the 15 & 16's look a bit lost but give the best ride - 17's a bit of both?

in all my cars i always use the 16's wheels for summer and winter. 205/55/16 is fine with me...
