Awesome mota! Good work on the mods- sounds just right- not too over the top. Loving the wheels! Horsham are supposed to be the danglies, so I'm sure they'll do a good job.

I love these things, i would have one in a heart beat!

That looks awesome. Enjoy.

It looks like a very good example, enjoy :)

Lovely thing. :)

very nice. What made you buy one of those over a Skyline?

Definitely has that "Get Out of My Way" look

a good r33 gtr skyline would prob be in the region of £10k to buy which is way out of my price league, plus the insurance company im with wont insure jap imports unless you have been the registered keeper of the car for a minimum of 12 months :thumbdwn:

running costs are crazy too and once mines been re-mapped it will quite easly upset a standard twin turbo skyline

the single turbo 2.5 rwd skylines are pretty useless IMO

U18 has a soft spot for the 200sx ;)

Nice looking example that one, Ali is building his S13 at the moment and we have one awesome 400+bhp S14 drift car on the books, werent really my thing but getting into them.

So much good stuff you can get for them.

Nice looking car Ross, shame about the TURD number plate :)

Very nice,my eldest son is heavily into 200sx's.He had a S14a which needed new sills, but whilst in the body shop,he discovered that the rear end was totally rotten and beyond repair. He has just bought a S14 Silvia to which he plans to fit all the bits he had on his S14a.You will be able to watch his progress if you are a member of the SXOC forum.Picture of his new purchase...

Rot is a big problem on the S14, the rear sills and subframe mountings just dissapear in a mass of rust, not good.

nicer looking than an r33 in my opinion too...

I had one of those once and I know what you mean about other cars not matching up. The only reason I got rid was due to needing a hatchback. Very nice example there.

thanks for all the kind words chaps

Bonelorry - Nice. Any thoughts of trying to get it in Banzai?

Ross - Just WTF posessed anyone to try and make an S13 into a front-engined Clan Crusader!? ;)

I had one of these

Loved it but it was pricey to run. Needed servicing every six months and as it had full history and 98k:eek:(ex reps car - lucky rep:)), I kept it up until my daughter didn't fit in the back anymore. Swapped it in for my Octy 4x4 in 2002, at the time they gave me £5300 for it and I couldn't turn them down. Daughter still hasn't forgiven me she loved it:rofl: Might get another one sometime when she goes to uni - or maybe a 350?

theyre good motors, i can imagine that paying for servicing could get expensive but i do all my own servicing and work in the trade so can keep my service history book stamped up which is good!

get another one (if you can find a good one that is) theyre very rewarding motors to drive if you treat them with respect, not many people KNOW how to drive them and they can and do catch many people out.........usually when it comes to corners

350z's arnt my thing at all, there arnt many modern cars that do it for me really.

Learnt to drive in Capri's etc. didn't own a front wheel drive car apart from a horrid mini until I'd been driving for years so tail happy is all good:rofl: Haven't tried a 350 but would like to, also maybe a Crossfire (just to annoy Clarkson). Going to drive a DB9 round Prestwell at the weekend for my 50th:eek::eek::eek: should be fun:) Half hoping it'll rain:)

Simon, that is one lovely car

Loving the alloys especially... do they come in 5x112 fitment :D

I had an S13 a few years ago and loved it, nearly bought a S14 just after, but a growing family necessitated a more practical motor :(

Looks like a well cared for example anyway, looking forward to seeing it at future meets

Cheers

thanks damian, you will be seeing this one no doubt! its definatly a keeper :)

when is the next local-ish meet???

Absolutely awesome looking cars with some tasteful mobs mate - a real classic indeed

I do however have one question: What made you choose "Goodyear Excellence" tyres on the front? Did they come on the alloys?

It was my understanding that they are a comfort/ economy tyre and no will do justice to the handling of that sx.

thanks :)

simple answer...............i got the fronts free and in 225/40r18 theyre not cheap for a premium tyre.

another answer is i actually work for goodyear and we fit goodyear excellence tyres to all the south yorkshire police volvo t5's! infact the drivers prefer them to the eagle f1 ;) and when a new car comes they request the excellence everytime.

they perform very very well on my car, ive also got a set of part worn michelin pilot sports for the front when these where out and they where free also but i do have to pay for the back tyres and theyre wider than the fronts so arnt cheap!

its definatly a keeper :)

hmmmm......we'll see :rolleyes::D:D:D
