Weird S60 Speed Up

Featured Replies

I got this from another forum and tried it on my N85 and it does actually work. I've tweaked the OP a bit as the guy's english wasn't very good.....

open the calendar and go

>options

>go to date' date='

then set the date to 01.05.2005.

You then need to ceate two new tasks/to-do on this date. This is done with the following menu:

>Options

>New entry

>Task/to do

Create the following two tasks in the following order:

1.Task/to do

*Subject: Speed

* Due Date: 04.08.2005

*Priority: High

2.Task/to do

*Subject: Qoukie

*Due Date: 04.08.2005

*Priority: Low

click on done with each task / to do. Don't close the calendar yet.

Go to the task / to do view in the callendar:

*Options

*Task/ to do view

Mark each task as done clicking the speed task first, then the Qoukie task second:

*Options

*Mark as Done

Then you can exit the calendar.

From now should speed the navigation menu significantly increase. Also, the gallery should now be a performance boost get.

After a reboot or reset the phone, the effect is lost. After the switch, everything has to be repeated

*This is for all S60[/quote']

Why would any of the above have an impact at all though? Weird!
