i have fitted new brakes today and like a numpty i have cross threaded the top slider can someone please tell me the name of the mount and a rough idea on price and would it be expensive ??

Are you on about the guide pin, the pin that takes a 7mm allen key? Think they are about £8 each from the dealers

i think its the carrier i have cross threaded thats the bit that holds the caliper to the suspension

Can't you run a tap through the threads?

darnt take the pin out though i know its either the pin or the ??? where the pin goes the pin refuses to tighten

That will require a whole hub assembley then if you can't get it helicoiled, the carrier isnt seperate.
