Travelling abroad for Motorsport

Featured Replies

Hi All

Me and the other half been all over the UK watching motorsport and we are considering cancelling our annual 2 weeks in the sun and taking a couple of mini breaks to the continent to incorporate so motorsport.

Anyone done this in any form other than a pilgrimige to the 'Ring?

Considering going to Pau in the south of France for the WTCC: flight to Biarritz, hire car to Pau, flight back

and heading to the 24hr GT race at Spa Francorchamps: drive to coast, eurotunnel or ferry to france, drive to belgium

Anyone got any tips/experiences/warnings they would like to share?

Thanx in advance

Cliff

Good calls.

Good calls.

now i'm normally on the same wavelength as most Briskodians but

huh?

Good choices; the other one I'd think of (avoiding the Nurburgring 24hrs since the lap is so long, and the obviousness of Le Mans) would be a GT race at Monza.

LeMan was the other option but Spa seems to do the same but cheaper - ok so its missing the speed of the prototypes should still be a spectacle
