Accoustic Rear Shelf?

I hear what your saying guys.

I used to work for Harman/Kardon and i've been trying to get some hand made stuff to fit in the front doors but because the window regulator runs right behind where the speaker goes, even with adaptor rings, it's really difficult to get something shallow enough that will give some decent bass up front.

I was hoping to fit a couple of free air subs in the shelf. I had this set-up in my Mk4 Golf and it worked really well. Looks like i'll be building a subtle box to house a uni-plane dual voice coil 10" on the left hand side of the boot.

Door builds and tweeter builds:D then you can fit any speaker you want. I got mine done last week with the tweeters in the A pillars and it sounds class. FOCAL speakers are the only way foward lol

I really don't want to get that involved! lol (don't want much do I!)

I've got some aluminium domed 1" tweeters to go in the mirror chasers that will fit in there no problem with a bit of hot melt!!

I just want to try and maintain a look which is as subtle as possible and cutting the door cards up etc is not an option.
