Exhaust upgrade but not boyracer

Featured Replies

Looking to upgrade my zorst but don't want it to sound like a boyracer. Are there any ones that are not too loud, the quieter the better.

Matchmaker on here has a supersprint turbo back with sports cat which looks remarkably similar to standard, and although it has a slightly deeper tone you would hardly know about the streets, sounds very nice on full chat though.

Blueflame turbo back with a sports cat.

I've had a longlife stainless steel cat-back exhaust fitted. With a mild sports sound.

Sounds nice at tickover and low revs, don't really notice it under normal driving revs.:)

Not heard of longlife Before

I have a Jetex tubo back system fitted, its not to loud (ie SWMBO doesnt complain) and the tail pipe looks original.

How about the Miltek system with extra silencer option!

milltek with resonator = barely louder then stock

milltek with straight centre pipe = still barely louder then stock

Standard Blueflame = louder then milltek but still not intrusive or droany on motorway

Blueflame with staright centre pipe = louder still an a slight droan on motorways, great note on full throttle,

these are all ive had before, all with sports cats the blueflame with 100cell sports cat the milltek with a 200cell sports cat

Not heard of longlife Before

They also do Milk!!

I'm trying to figure out the point of changing your exhaust for one that is exactly the same.

No extra noise usually means it's still restrictive so very little or no gain what so ever. You may get and extra 3 or 4 bhp if you are lucky.

The one I have is the original and rusting so want to get something better. Don't want a lot of noise as like to keep it quiet and hide what I have under the hood.
