Weird, the car was ok 4 weeks ago when I last drove it properly, since then I have been on holiday and preparing it for trax. Today get in, and the external temp displayed by the climatronic said 16c, and several hours later it still says 16c but it must be in the 20's by now. Where is the sensor located that picks up the external temp, perhaps I have disturbed something whilst cleaning the engine bay or washing and waxing the car like never before.

If it is the sensor I am thinking of, it will be behind the right hand lower grille (facing towards the car). You know, the one that isn't fully 'holed'. Karl had mine out for some diagnostics a while back hence I remember where it was.

Mannyo.......i take it you didn`t pressure wash it, the engine bay/front of car:confused:

It might have filled the multiplug with water, or dislodged it:(
