Transparent protective film for protecting paint

Featured Replies

How do Gents

Im wondering if anyone knows anything about the transparent protective film for protecting paintwork? I have seen kits available for cars where it covers problem spots on the front to prevent stone chip damage etc.

Im after some that could go on the top of the back bumper to stop the dog scratching the paint when she gets out of the car?

Or this,

Foliatec Paint Protection Film

I can't see how much is in there, But I'd assume you'd be able to do the bumper top and the two rear sills with some left over!

Cheers Gents. I might make a template this weekend and get someone to cut it for me. Are there any sign makers or vehicle graphics people on here?

i just have a bit of old carpet in the boot that i pull over the bumper when the dog gets in, then the dog lies on this as we travel along, saves getting hair all over the boot and the bumper from scratches!

Cheers. I actually have a Hatchbag boot liner which is awesome for the boot and stops hairs getting everywhere. I was after something that when the car was mucky wouldn't scratch the paint when she stands on it.
