All of a sudden I seem to have lost functionality to my steering wheel stereo controls and the stereo component of the LCD display in the dash has disappered. The weird thing is that the cruise control buttons on the other side of the steering wheel still work as does the stereo itself.

Anyone know if there is a specific fuse for these bits that are dead or know of any other plausible reason that they have suddenly stopped working?!...:confused:

Could be a glitch, try this, hold in the mfd switch (stalk button on the wiper switch) the one you read all the different settings for fuel con,miles done etc, hold it in for a few seconds top ways or bottom, this should bring up a menu of 3 choices, select mfd on and wait for it to go off, see if anythings changed, other than that if it's not a fuse it's gonna be a hunt to blame either the radio unit itself or possibly the steering wheel.

Sometimes they do that, my last three have occasionally lost the stereo controls and display between the dials. Usually clears itself by the next day. One of those things about the Superb I guess.

if youve lost siplay and steering controls might be worth your while popping the radio out and checking the connections at the back, will be either the yellow or green mini iso plug
