Fog Lamp Grille, Road Trip & spares...

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. I picked up a fog lamp grille yesterday. I had intended to fit spot lamps to my Rapid (as in the ones that mount to the bumper) but figured I would try the proper spot lamp grille just to see how it looks.

I must say I'm almost 100% convinced by it. I reckon it looks rather cool...

Taken from it's better side.

Last weekend I picked up a load of spare Skoda parts from Steve Waterworth in Manchester. I investigated the hoard yesterday and the picture below shows the contence of one of many boxes: :D

Also, not got round to sharing these photos yet. They were taken near Bala Lake in Wales after I got lost last weekend. While the detour cost me heavily in time it was well worth it. I will definately be re-visiting that road in the future....!

A word of advice; I'd use the grille to fit driving lights or long-range lights, not fogs, because fogs work better the lower they go on, and there's a nice recess for them under the headlights and bumper.

Thanks for the advice. So what sort of bulbs am I wanting for it?

Probably H1 or H3, depending on the light units.
