Sorry for the late update guys, I wasn't sure whether to post a new thread or revive this one so took the easy option lol.

I was hoping to have this new Fabia repaired within a few months but work has been absolute bedlam and trying to find used parts for it has been a total nightmare.

After feeling sorry seeing the poor thing sat in the corner collecting dust and begging to be reborn I found a bit of time so bargained a great deal on discounts with my local TPS and treat it to everything it needed brand spanking new.

For the anoraks amongst us (me included) the white bonnet is from a 2008 Fabia and was only on to make sure everything lined up ok :)

The repair was text book easy, it only required a minimal repair to the chassis leg end but did require a lot of parts that were damaged in the aftermath.

I replaced the standard headlights with the dark versions from the monte and added the fog lights to suit, I resprayed the front grille chromes in black magic metallic and the alloys in graphite metallic.

The roof and the top of the tailgate I had professionally wrapped in gloss black vinyl, its got the rear lower bumper spoiler from a monte in gloss black and the interior door handles I've changed to silver.

Oh and I removed the door mouldings.

To finish it off I bought a 11 reg plate with our lasses name on it and stuck it on our drive on Christmas day as a surprise gift, she nigh on wet herself lol.

I've an issue with the headlight electrics that I'll start a separate thread on but apart from that I'm totally spunking through hoops on how good it is.

Once I've wrestled it off the other half to do the wheel alignment its off for a remap, I've the maxidot display, reverse sensors and cruise control to retrofit at some point along with a few cosmetic items.

Anyway here it is:

Hey man, great job, I'm doing something similar with my fabia II anthracite grey.

I always thought 'death cars' had to be crushed, no if's or but's?
