Recently took ownership of a new Skoda Octavia Tour Combi 1.9 Tdi. Becoming baffled at witch engine oil I should use? Is she a PD engine? And has she DPF? Here's some info on the service book. Power output 74KW (100bhp) Engine code AXR and service intervals QG1 15000Km.:confused:

Think you could be right about the PD . Awaiting a reply from the dealer for the oil spec. Dont like the sounds of letting an oil change go to 15000km.

An oil change every 10_000 miles in Western European driving conditions is not atypical. Of course, this is with a caveat that you should half the change intervals in very hot or very dusty conditions.
