Front nearside spring on my 99octavia needs the top bearing replacing ( goes "boing "when u are putting a lock on).Is it a fairly easy job to replace & where is the best place to buy 1 from. Can anyone help?

Have you checked the spring over? I had both front springs snap on my Octy due to bad roads.

I know I typed this up recently, but you need normal spanners etc, and spring compressors, either way.
