Hi all,

im not sure if this is the right place but my Octy vRS came with a WRC spoiler on it.

i want to get rid of it cos i think its hideous.

i purchased a standard spoiler off ebay for £45 but i need to find somewhere that will fit it. i live in northamptonshire so preferbly near there.

also, if anyone wants the WRC spoiler they can take it off my hands for naff all as i'll only skip it. its silver btw.

easy to fit mate just 4 bolts or do you need it painted aswell??

its already painted silver mate, its just new holes have been sprayed for the WRC one which will be exposed when the standard one is on. i think so anyway by looking at it.

I had a similar issue once with a Citroen BX, and the GTi "hoop". All we did to block off the mounting holes was put suitably sized blanking plugs over them. Of course, that was on a metallic black car.

No problems mate it's the luck of the draw :thumbup:

I was only asking Delcac about his one at the weekend too :(

Shame though, both having silver we could have straight swapped.

Is it the same as in my link or a different one?

being re done today and the wheels have gone to powder coat aswell:D

Dam I would of liked that to, also having a silver VRS. I spent so long looking for one and one is given away. never mind.

Ian the ones on Ebay don't have the bottom section that the real WRC cars have, that surrounds the Skoda badge.

Jack was yours the same as the EBay pic.

I noticed 2 real Fabia WRC spoiler go on Ebay the other day and was tempeted to contact the seller to see if Octy ones were available. I think Delcac had the last 2 Real WRC octy ones though.

Super Skoda sell replicas the last time I looked.

SuperSkoda sell the one I have linked on ebay as well as the other type you describe.

I prefer the one in the link and it is a lot cheaper than from superskoda but still made by Kopacek.

I will be ordering one Friday week then may have a go at painting it myself when it arrives.

Argh...I was only thinking last night how I was quite tempted to get one! Even worse, my car is diamond silver too. Ah well, you snooze, you lose!

hi, im on the PC at work and unfortunately it doesnt show pictures, or let me access links due to pop up blockers.

i will try and get on here at home so i can see if its the same one.

it might be a replica cos it was on there already, however a mate of mine said it was a WRC one......

If it has a part along the base of the bootlid then, even if it's a replica, visually it is the same as the ones fitted to the proper WRC car. If it just has the supports at either end which bolt directly to the bootlid then it's a slightly different shape and size from what I can tell although obviously moulded on the aforementioned item.
