vRS Heated seats????

Featured Replies

I have noticed there is cables under the std vRS seats and am thinking it is for the heated parts? is this correct?

also is the wire for them in the dash? is it pushed away or do you need to buy other parts to get it to work?

Does anyone know if it is just find the cable and connect the switch or does it need coading in to the car???

cheers

billy

I have done a search and not found anything:thumbup:

i thought the cables where for seat belt etc

i thought the cables where for seat belt etc

I also thought that.

For the pressure pad thing so it knows when yer bums there. :D

You'll need new seats as well though! Because your seats won't have the heater elements in them if the car didn't come with them standard.

Unless you've already changed your seats for ones from a car that came with heated seats.

People that have fitted full leather heated seats from golfs or S3's seem to have wired up the seats. You should be able to find the heat adjuster dials to replace the blank button on the dash too. No idea about having to program stuff in!

I thought heated seats gave you piles!

The cables are probably for something else, maybe safety related..... I'll have a look.

The wires might be for:

-heated seats option

-electric adjustable seats option

-side airbag (with control unit mounted under the seat) option

You don't want all that pap though! Only slow you down!

Strip out the interior and put a cage in there Billy! You know you want to! Hardcooooore
