when your car goes into limp mode is there any lights come up on the dash etc?

or is it just the cut of boost to about 5psi?

not always accompanied by a CEL or even a fault code... a real PITA

Mine did it in secret when it happened :thumbdwn: no lights, no bad running, just booted it and nothing. a quick glance at the boost gauge bought the reality home A new MAF stopped my problem.

Mine went in2 limp earlier, I've tried fitting a forge twin piston dv I picked up cheap on eBay because I'm a bit fed up with the pathetic wet fart that the forge spltr gives off. Wondering if there's anyways of stopping it goin in2 limp. Stupid bloomin vag engines
