If you sit in the Drivers seat and look where the top of the Dash meets the Inside of the A pillar there is a quite large gap in which you can get just about your fingers down and the right hand corner of the windscreen, on the inside, where it meets the top of the dash. that's the same as you can see all the padding and the dash is quite springy at that point. If you look at the passenger side every thing fits flush......So I went back to the dealers and all the Fabia 2 's in the Showroom are the same " Anyone else noticed this............"

My Roomster has the same dash and whilst perhaps not as cavernous, the problem is there.

I would guess that it all boils down to making the dash for the conversion to Right hand drive, maybe Skoda employ better quality control for all the lefties, after all it would have been designed as a left hooker from the start I would guess.

Same on mine too. Not too fussed about it but it being on all of them does kind of show a lack of attention to detail from Skoda.

At least bits don't tend to fall off. A colleague of mine was on the motorway and a large bit fell from the engine of a Peugeot went across the motorway and put dings in my colleague's bumper.

Have to say, I thought that gap was a little larger than it should be. You could fill it with black silicon sealer if it bothers you!

Mines a left hand drive, French one, have to say there is no gap at all on both sides, so it looks as though it is something to do with the right hand drive conversion.
