Need a diagnostic check on my brother in law's Passat.

After replacing the brake light switch, the ESP and ABS lights come on intermittently.

Any help greatly appreciated :)

whereabouts in the Midlands? It's quite a large area. Also does it have CAN or not?

A B5.5 Passat doesn't IIRC.
