hi got a superb elegance 2.0 56 plate got a rattle passengerside but it goes whenthe clutch is depressed the only way i can describe it is it sounds like a chain looseon a cog its booked into skoda and they say they need to take the gearbox of as thats were the noise is coming from thay say it might be covered under warranty any ideas what it might be

Sounds like the clutch release bearing.

I doubt it - unless the car has really low miles clutches and brakes are not normally covered, unless it is a faulty part.

omg skoda took itin anddone the job under warranty thank god they replaced the clutch and fly wheel now im a happy bunny:thumbup::P:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
