URGENT! Same shocks in Felicia and Favorit?

Featured Replies

Title tells everything, is there same suspension parts in Favs and year 1995 Felicia? Quick aswers needed, please.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the only difference is the favorit front shocks don't have some fixing for the abs sensor wire, not an issue if yours does not have abs anyway but i believe it could be bodged easily. Only other thing I can think is they may be different on the diesel and 1.6 due to extra weight of engine, but I guess it's more likely it's just the springs that are different. Springs are stronger at the rear on estate and pickup models i believe. Rears should be easy to swap, but the bottom bolts on the front may be a bugger to get off.

In summary I believe they should be the same.

i have felly shocks on the fav

I had shortened diesel springs on the front of my fav, made it a lot stiffer

That was me that posted that, from personal experience. For other queries, look at the Monroe and/or KYB shocks catalogues, both available online at the companies' respective web sites.

in a 95 felicia, not even a problem!

are they the same part? no.

will they fit perfectly? yes.

Thank you gentlemen, I forgot to reply after you help. There was challenging situation when I had rally race coming after 5 days and front shock spitted oils out...but finally I managed to repair it and there was no need to bolt another pair shocks on.

And race went well although one Polo and Suzuki Swift were too hard to beat. However it was my first race and I felt like winner when driving stages through to the finish without any bigger mistakes, damages or technical problems. Only some leaning to snow banks now and then but thats the meaning of those banks :). Is someone interested to see some pics from the race?

yes we want pics, lots of pics

I'd read the same on here and I was surprised how easy mine were to get off after a spray of plus gas and using a breaker bar on it.

you guys are so unlucky to have wet weather all the time, nothing rusts here, but the downside is that cars are worth nearly double the price:(

Well i have just bought favorit shocks for the felicia pickup and will be fitting them hopefully today or tomorrow :-)

Good on ya, while your at it you might think to consider buying new bearing and inserts, there not too expensive, think the bearings are like 14 for the two and insets are 8,anyways it all depends on how old the car is,,just a thought :)

on which model and front or rear ?

For the front motor of favorit 91 modle what does it consist of and how much?I tried looking for your contact email on the site but i had no luck.
