yeah but when car comes on boost i should no about it tho is that right

yep :D

how much you got to spend??? its not cheap to do this mod properly:eek:

i think it comes in at 4.5k and then all the way to red line :D

get the right setup and its good but if you speak tto people like delcac he will explain to you that it really isnt worth the money :o

you will be looking at suspension upgrades and brakes first and then the kit ontop of that and then the bottom end rebuild etc etc

all depends on what you want from the car as... what is yours running now and what mods have you done ????

i have a turbo back system on , coilovers , forge carbon air filter , ecu remap

i just want abit more power

any ideas

Would a K04 be a slightly less painful upgrade, especially if lots of the bits could be sourced from a scrapped engine?

thanks i would like the car to be running aroung the 300 bhp and i have 3000k to spend what can i do

Just a suggestion since I don't know about the legal issues of where you live but how about a nitrous oxide system? You could get a decent system in your price range and it would be pretty nifty. Extra power only when you need it.

to behonest mate what i would do is get the most out of the k03s first

brake upgrade ( disc and pads £250)

abd tip and intake pipe( £200)

front mount intercooler ( anywhere from £200 to £1000)

uprated fuel pump and 4 bar reg ( £250)

lsd diff (£800)

free flow exhaust manifold (jbs comes out next month) ( £380)

custom remap ( £400 )

this should give you around the 240 bhp and will hold 1 bar from around 2k all the way to the red line and a properly set up ko3s will kick the gt28 into touch no trouble :D

ask beretta about a k03s vs gt28

all the best clive

the quick way to destroy your engine

Buy Speednuts Octy...IHI power comes in smoother than the Gt28

What would i know though.........lol

GT2871rs on my old one, laggy yes but on song pulled like a train and upset many high end performance cars

I disagree. When it's done properly nothing will break. Ofcourse it will require stronger parts in the engine but it's not like you can just slab a huge turbo charger on and think that it's ok. Nitrous oxide is only a chemical way of getting more oxygen into the engine and thus allowing more fuel to be burt -> more power. Just as a turbo charger pushes more air into the engine and thus more power can be produced.

Honestly mate save your money or do something else with it.

States on their that its not for FWD, quattros only

Lol teach me to read quick but i'm sure there was one a bit back for the fwd.

No, no, no, what you want to do is spend loads on a GT28 conversion and then keep paying out to fix it every week. That's what you want to be do.

Excuse me whilst I comb the hair out of my eyes :) ..... Bloody scoundrel......
