Rear parcel shelf broken again!

Having had the rear parcel shelf replaced under warranty last year, I now find that the replacement has gone the same way as the first. The plastic clips which enable it to hinge on the lugs have split, which means that the shelf lifts off the lugs far too easily and ends up hanging from the tailgate. Anyone else had this problem? I'll be after another replacement soon and would be interested if this is a common design fault.
