Featured Replies

Apologies if this is the wrong forum, i wasn't sure if the 04 was 2nd version or not. I am interested in a purchasing a 2004 1.8T VRS hatchback. 50,000 miles on the clock. I am after some advice on what to look out for as I have no experience with Skodas whatsoever. Any pointers would be appreciated i.e common faults etc. Thanks very much.

try a search mate in the top right corner, lots of advice to be found.

You're in the right forum, if its 04 it is a mk1

As Billy said, try a search, there is loads of advice in this forum.

Also don't feel pressured into buying the first one you see as there seem to be loads about at the moment and prices are lower than ever.

Make sure cambelt and water pump changed at 4 yrs or 40k and check all electrics as they can be expensive (sore point). Also check suspension for creaking etc over speed bumps etc...

Other than that enjoy!
