Hi all.

Im after a Hybrid turbo, good for 240bhp.

Tryed the search, but i cant find anything.

I wanted to know what the model turbo I need for my fabia (so i can order a phat one from ebay.de).

It a VA or VB or summin?

Turbo Dynamics Stage 2, IIRC it was MD376 or the equivalent but havent got the papers handy soz

MD376 is looking good. Is that the actual turbo model, or is that just F1's nick name?

And does anyone know what car I may find one on?

MD376 is the Turbodynamics Stage 2 Hybrid for the Fabia vRS (amongst others). Great turbo

Whats the GT1752 like then?

And whats the difference between the GT1749, GT1749VA and the GT1749VB ?

Can get a VB for £750 new, with manifold. Good? good for 240bhp?

The VB is used in the stage 2 hybrid. They fit a larger compressor wheel so its kind of a GT1756 hybrid or something like that.

A standard VB is good for around 180/190bhp

GT1749,VA,VB all have different size compressors/turbines. VB being the largest. Their is also a VC which is fitted to the PD170 but believe it doesnt fit the 8v head.

The VB and the VA can both be used for stage 2 turbo dynamics turbos.

Mine was a VA that was rebuilt to stage 2 and it could handle well into the 240's .... 248bhp IIRC but was turned down slightly to create less smog.

I ran at 230bhp till i stripped the car.

Very good turbos.

id look at picking up a VA as they are more common than the VB

So any GT1749VA will do for a Hybrid part ex?

Does anyone know if I can part ex more than one turbo, because I can get two for £180 (is that good?).

The people to ask would be a Turbo Dynamics.

The VC is also up the other way with the turbo mounted above the manifold (I happen to have one of those spare).
