Every things gone BIG............

Featured Replies

I've done somthing to the apperance of my Laptop by mistake, Every things gone BIG, Desktop icons, Fonts, Every thing............Any idear's

Resolution size wrong maybe ???

Go-desktop>right click on a blank area>properties >settings.....then fiddle with the slider.

HTH

A couple of things to try..

1. Bottom right - just above the clock - is there a magnifying glass icon and a % value. Try changing the setting. 100% is usually the deault.

2. Minimise all windows. Right click somewhere on your background, and select properties. You should get a "Display Properties" box. Go to the "Settings" tab and adjust Screen resolution

Edit: fatty5000 beat me to it with No. 2. Try No. 1 if that doesnt work

Or you could have pressed control while using the scroll wheel on the mouse ...that will make it big or small sometimes

I don't think that that effects the desktop icons.

Given his description of the problem I'll be the third person to go with screen resolution set incorrectly :)

Which will make me the 4th. Sorry, but it was the first thing I thought of was that you've set a low resolution.

That, or the Utility Manager (windows + U) has been used to run the 'Magnifier'.

If you hit Windows + U the Utility manager should come up. You can then select the Magnifier, and stop it if it is running, as well as stop it from starting again next time you reboot.

That sounds like it could be a quote from a 'Carry On' film - or is it just me ?
