So, these bushes?

Featured Replies

As it's sooo popular for people to get powerflex & cupra bushes fitted, I asked my mechanic to fit the cupra bushes as he fixed my wishbone.

I didn't ask him to get the powerflex ones though. I'm guessing this'll still be a worth while switch though..

My question is, What does the Ibiza Cupra use where the powerflex bushes go? Just standard bushes (like on any Ibiza or Fabia) or another cupra only part?

Any one any idea?

IIRC the Cupra bushes are solid vs the vRS ones, which have some holes in them (more flex).

normal/standard bushes are fitted in the front wishbone bush on all models

IMHO Powerflex bushes aren't required as there is so little movement in the standard bush anyway

I agree completely, to the OP, the TCA front bush is an integral part of the TCA - so normally is not replacable - and VAG do not sell a seperate bush to replace a damaged one, that is where the Powerflex part comes in handy as its a two part bush that can be fitted if required - rumour has it that A2 bushes can be able to be fitted - but that is not a suggestion, just an urban myth or fact!

The A2 bush is the same design as the Cupra bush.

All of this has allready been well discussed and flogged to death including pictures and everything..lol
