Halfords Paint Match

Featured Replies

Just a quick one guys. Wanting to spray a few bits on the car (And fix those stone chips!) and I was just wondering if the Halfords "Skoda Black Magic" was a good match for the genuine article? As there's no Skoda dealer in the town where I live or the town where I work so I'm trying to save a special trip 2 get some.

cheers guys

You are better off going in and getting them to mix you one, Yes it costs a little more but you get a better quality spray and if you take your colour code from inside your handbook in they'll match it with the database they have!

HTH... :)

i gave them the paint code (red) to do my grill..wasnt same match

Got a spay can from Halfords (was an emergancy), good match but i'm not going to buy anymore from then. Price is a total rip off!

Oh, mine was Black Magic

There will be severall batches of each paint code, the only way to get it right will be going to a paint chip & scratch co. they will have the full pallete off samples to choose from. My old 2002 reflex silver Golf had 13 shades of the paint code to choose from. Black paint is the easiest to match.
