Hi,

I'm planning on removing the door carrier to gain access to the reverse of the door to hopefully remove a dent close to the handle.

The door carrier is riveted on. Can anyone tell me the ideal drill bit size to drill out the rivets and the size of the rivets required to reassemble (assuming they're a standard size).

Also, once the rivets have been drilled out is it a straightforward process to remove the carrier or is the winder mechanism likely to be a time consuming affair?

Are there any how to guides on removing the door carrier and the mechanisms that lie within the door?

Hoping it's a straightforward DIY job...

Similar to this, the window is held in by a two piece pin though, knock out the centre then the outer.
