I have a re-mapped 01 Fabia Tdi. I'm thinking of having cruise control retro-fitted by a dealer and was wondering that if when the dealer taps into my ECU to enable the cruise control it could affect the re-map in some way.

I'd doubt there would be any affect but I thought I'd ask anyway as I am trying to avoid a situation where the dealer might moan because they see something that is not standard.

If its not standar but out of warrenty, they cant do alot.

Just ask them if they can still fit Cruse Control to a remapped Fabia.

But unfortunately , I can`t have it on my car

I have the wrong convenience system ECU

I am sorry , but yours may be the same

Remap will not cause any issue
