Can the sat nav in a vrs be updated to show irish and european roads?

Not really sure if I'm pointing you in the right direction but there are some Irish and major European maps in the for sale section here:

I don't see why not , my VRS Sat Nav has European roads on it. Will check it for Irish roads, Give me a road to look up and i wil check.

Sorry to slightly change the topic here but which VRS sat nav are we discussing? Is it the MFB1 that sometimes comes up on eBay?

Just change the cd to the one for the relevant country ,I think the british disc has ireland on it ,there is also a european major routes disc, and individual country ones for europe.

i have the 07/08 disc and sumtimes when u put a town or road in it comes up with irland in brackets so i think the european disc does both that what disc do u have, and im on bout the mf b version on the octy, but sorry to jump on the thread will the sat nav take ipod??

Thaks for the help everyone was looking at buying a vrs in the uk and bringing it back to ireland but just wanted to check would the sat nav work
