Anyone used the above company in Bradford for a 1.8T postal remap?

I'm expecting my ECU back today or tomorrow with an "expected" 210bhp, so once it's fitted back in I'll update.

(For info, they are offering a £95 all in postal remap like ECU evolution in Wales used to do)

Can't wait.....

IMPORTANT UPDATE - after a week of being on the car, the remapped ECU failed and I was left stranded at Leigh Delamare services on the M4. The AA told me there was an internal checksum error on the ECU.

I have since had to replace the ECU. Please read the rest of this thread for a full explanation

important update

Do you know who makes the files they use?

iirc they male their own (if you believe all the blurb)

They have good feedback and offer a 14 day no questions asked money back guarantee so can't be all bad...

£95 is cheap! Is that an offer price or long term?

it's an ebay price, for postal remap only. They normally charge about £200 on their website which is customtuning.co.uk (if I'm allowed to advertise)

Every now and then they do a "no reserve £1 start remap auction" on ebay but the catch with that one is you have to physically take the car to them in Bradford (which is a long way for me...)

Fingers crossed it'll be a good one - I've heard all positives from other postal remap companies, so I thought I'd give it a go...

Why didnt you stick with the known ECU Evolution ? I ask as their map comes from a very good source and is super smooth.... Same money as well.

Thanks to Martin for the recommendation.

because I couldn't find their £95 advert.

It's back on the car anyway (arrived back this morning) and makes a huuuuuuuuuuuuge difference!

Good on you for trying something new. Recommendations are a tuning companies best advert .

best of luck.
