my drivers side seatbelt isnt retracted properly, any ideas?? is there a way it can get blocked??

Mines doing the same - My garage told me that it could fail the MOT over it.

pull it out all the way , then check to see if it is wet , if its wet the front/rear doors are probably leaking water in , when the seat belt is wet , it swells up stopping it from retracting fully

another reason for slow/poor retraction is the belt is sticking as it slides through the top mount point, cleaning the belt and top mount may fix the problem

or the belt mechanism could just be f0cked

and yes it will fail a MOT if it doesn't work correctly

my passenger front belt had to be replaced, wouldnt retract

My Fabia's driver's seat belt started to become very reluctant to retract to the extent that when leaving the car I often had a large loop on the floor. As suggested I tried pulling it all the way out and it sort of improved for a short while but soon left a big loop on the floor. In frustration I started giving it sharp tugs that engaged the snatch mechanism every time I started/ended a journey. I'm now pleased to say that after three/four weeks the seatbelt is now behaving itself and retracting fully as it did when new I can only guess the snatch mechanism get clogged up
