hi can any one tell me where in the uk stock either the gt2x or the gtrs garrett eliminator turbos as a direct swap for my ko3s on my octy vrs and how much they am cheers

talking from experience don't do it.

I agree about the GT2x, I read they were very hit and miss with performance.

by a long long way thats the least of its issues, between this turbo and a useless garage i am around 4k out of pocket.

they are shi t, simple as that really.

performance isn't too bad but its the quality of it thats the problem, if i can dig it out i'll send you the report from turbo dynamics if you like

forgot to say, turbo dynamics refused to put it back together after dismantling it for inspection as then it would have been them to build it and they weren't willing to put their name against it in any way shape or form.

brandnew supplied and fitted by the garage who refused to have anything to do with it once broken.

what did Garrett themselves say? I assume after it was dismantled not a lot!

nothing as there was nothing wrong with the garret side only the custom bits

so are you back to k03s now?

no, went from there to the car being off the road for 2 years as i collected parts and its getting a replacement engine as mine had done over 120k miles, a gt28 with everything else like equal length tubular manifold, 6 speed box and spec stage 3+ clutch etc.
