I have a 1.9tdi Fabia 2003 estate. Discovered a leak from the sump, looks like a new one is in order. Local Skoda garage want £120 for sump & seal + vat + labour. Didint even get onto oil.

Anyone out there replaced there own sump? I notice on ebay & partner sites, sumps can be bought for as little as £40. Looks like a relatively straight forward job.

not too difficult a job to do , as long as you have the right tools , high enough axle stands and jack are a must
