sony bravia problem

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a sony bravia 32v4000 which is six months old and i seem to have a wee problem with it. It sometimes looks as if the image is "ghosting" behind its self!!.....maybe not the best description of the problem, but it seems like the image is moving within itself especialy when a face is on the screen....it looks like its wobbling!!.....anybody have any ideas about it?

Cheers

Kit

Is this all the time, of just when watching Sky / HDD / DVD? I had that with the SCART lead that came with our HDD / DVD, and a decent SCAR lead fixed it. I presume the 'free' one wasn't shielded very well. If it's only come on recently, make sure both ends of the lead are seated correctly, as this can make a big difference to the SNR

thanks for that apOgee, il try that tonight. It only seems to happend on certain channels and shows. Think im using the scart that came with it!

KAI.....

try these settings

I have a Sony KDL 26V4000 and sometimes there is 'smudging' when there is movement on the TV picture. My settings are as follows:

Backlight - 5

Picture Mode - Standard

Contrast - 79

Brightness - 50

Colour - 50

Sharpness - 12

Colour Tone - Neutral

Noise Reduction - off

Adv contrast - off

K:)

PS....if they are no good just go to AVforums.com and type "sony bravia 26v4000 best settings" in to the search box and work your way through them until you get the best picture.

K:)
