Myt brakes feel fine but I get a graunching noise, particularly when cold first thing. My mechanic says this is normal with the Fabia VRS, that it is just a build up of brake dust around the caliper and the best thing to do is give the wheels a good jet wash. Have others had the same thing with their cars and does the jet wash fix the grumbling?:confused:

Yep they all do it. It's because the rear brakes hardly do anthing. I changed my pads which shut it up for a few weeks.

Yeah it's normal, I took the wheels off and cleaned everything up a couple of weeks ago but it's back already. As spud says there are a few other threads about it.
