rear camber adjusting

Featured Replies

Am i right in thinking that the rear wheels can be adjusted to give a maximum of negative 3 rear camber. Now if thats correct that would surely eat your tyres.

What is the most you could adjust the rear camber before getting uneven tyre wear.

I know track vehicles often have negative camber on the rear to encourage 'rear steer' and better turn in.

So the million dollar question is, is it worthwhile to do on the octy if you frequent tracks a fair bit(but also do a fair amount of motorway miles) And what would the reccommended amount be.

HAd the offer of purchasing camber adjustable top mounts, but decided against it as the WALK gives you dynamic camber on turn in, so all the benefits, with none of the side effects

You have to watch the bolts dont seize in the bushes. If they do, then you will more than likely tear the eccentric bushes. (I've had to drop the rear frame and replace all of these, after cutting the bolts)

I dont think it would be worthwhile to be honest, after lowering mine the rear wheels were miles out.

It didnt make that much difference to the handling imo either.

maybe wheels in motion will be able to shed a little more light

Simon, I think Koni FSD's and Eibach springs woud be a better purchase rather than messing around with the camber on the standard setup.;)
