looking round at uprated rods/pistons etc etc and there so many options depending on what block you've got, they talk about AEB's, ALH's, 06A's, 06B's etc etc

i think the ALH is a tall diesel block, higher deck height etc.

but the others i'm lost with.

ALH I am pretty sure is the 110hp TDI engine (non-PD)

Beyond that I know sod all about that engine.

ALH is a non PD 1.9TDI 90 bhp engine, AEB is a 1.8 turbo lump.

Your engine type code/block code will be on a white sticker in the front of your skoda booklet.

i know the 4x4 comes with an ARX and i think my replacement engine is an AGU, i think. but where does this 06A etc come from?
